Length of Treatment

A typical therapy session lasts 53 - 60 minutes, with the possible exception of the initial assessment session, as it may take more time to gather information depending on the complexity of the case. Therapy sessions are usually recommended on a weekly basis and we can discuss your needs and preferences. Therapy can be short term, lasting eight weeks or less, or as long as six months or more. Once treatment goals have been reached, we will discuss a transitional plan to help you continue to receive the support needed with community resources and follow up sessions on an as needed basis.
